Chigiri-e - Balão

Chigiri-e is a type of paper collage. You rip paper with you hands.

In Japan, origami paper is torn off with the fingers to create chigiri-e.
If origami is not available in your area, you can use colored flyers or newspapers.
If there is glittery paper, children will be even more motivated.
It takes finger strength to tear the paper into small strips. Once you are able to tear it into small pieces, you can make a wonderful collage.

Please Print on A4 size, slightly thicker drawing paper.
Recommended age: 3.5 years old and up.
