Make a Rocking Seesaw! Curved Cutting Practice Sheet for Scissors

Once your child gets used to cutting straight lines, it’s time to try something new—cutting curves! With this activity sheet, children can cut along thick curved outlines using scissors and then fold along the dashed line in the center to create a fun, rocking seesaw toy. When the curves are cut cleanly, the seesaw balances and rocks smoothly, providing a sense of accomplishment and joy. This activity is ideal for developing fine motor skills and concentration, and is suitable for children around age 3 and up.

For best results, set your printer to A4 size and print on slightly thick drawing paper or high-quality paper. If the paper is too thick to fold easily, we recommend lightly scoring the center fold line using the back of a cutter or a bone folder, if you have one.
