Scissors work best for children aged 5 and up, but younger children can participate with adult assistance. The set includes both a colored version and a black-and-white version, so kids can focus on coloring while adults help with cutting, making it a great cooperative activity.
A printable sumo ring is included, but you can also use an empty box as your ring. To play, start with the wrestlers locked together, tap the edge of the ring lightly with your fingers, and try to knock your opponent down. Avoid hitting too hard or they’ll fall over quickly — start gently and build up the excitement.
Play in a spot away from fans or air conditioners. Printing on A4 or letter-size cardstock will make the pieces more durable.
