In Montessori education, fantasy-themed materials are not commonly used. However, after receiving many requests from children who wanted to go on exciting adventures, we decided to create a special fantasy-themed sewing activity.
This unique sewing material allows children to follow a path from start to finish, just like a board game. As they travel toward the goal, they naturally develop concentration while enjoying the adventure.
Contents Included
■ Dinosaur World
Travel through a land filled with dinosaurs and make your way to the goal, where an ancient ape awaits.
■ Space World
Pass by aliens and giant spaceships as you journey toward a new planet.
■ Deep Sea World
Explore the ocean depths, encounter mysterious sea creatures, and search for hidden treasure.
■ Underground Exploration World
Journey through an underground world filled with cave dwellers, ancient statues, and mysterious robots to discover a giant gemstone.
This material is an adventure-style sewing activity in which children follow a route from start to finish using needle and thread. Because the activity has a clear goal, children remain engaged and motivated until the end.
In addition to developing fine motor skills and concentration, children experience a wonderful sense of accomplishment when they reach the goal. Perfect for children who love dinosaurs, space, deep-sea adventures, and treasure hunts.
Materials Needed
・Blunt sewing needle
・Thread
・Scissors
・Push pin (or thumbtack)
・Cork board
Place the sheet on a cork board and use a push pin to make holes at the black dots. (For children under 3 years old, an adult should prepare the holes in advance.)
For best results, print on slightly thicker paper or cardstock.
