This craft activity invites children to enjoy a full process of coloring, cutting, folding, and gluing. First, they color the wreath base and the eight small triangle pieces freely.
Once the coloring is done, all parts are cut out. To make the center hole of the wreath, the circle is folded in half, and a single snip along the fold creates an opening. From there, the cut is extended all the way around, and each triangular flap is folded outward.
On the back of these folded sections, the colored triangle pieces are glued to complete a lively, dimensional Christmas wreath. Adding a string allows it to be displayed on the wall or hung on a Christmas tree.
Because the steps require fine motor control and concentration, this activity is ideal for children around ages 5–6. Enjoy creating together at home and celebrate the joy of the season.
